Edward Joseph Sanchez, a 20-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Tuesday, Aug. 28, in the 10000 block of Hickory Street in Watts, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
According to officials, Sanchez was shot several times during a drive-by shooting about 9:15 p.m. He was later pronounced dead.
There was no description of the suspect or suspects, said LAPD Officer Cleon Joseph.
Sanchez's preliminary coroner report shows he sustained gunshot wounds to the head, arms, torso, left leg and right ankle.
